Busha, a Nigerian cryptocurrency exchange, has recently received $4.2 million in seed capital to help it spread across Africa.

Cadenza Ventures, Blockchain Capital, CMT Digital, greenhouse Capital, Raba Capital, and other investors joined Jump Capital in this round of fundraising.

The company has been expanding across Africa, including Nigeria, and recently received a $4.2 million seed round to strengthen its position in the market in West Africa and other parts of the continent.

Busha is a cryptocurrency platform that allows users to purchase, trade, and manage their cryptocurrency portfolios through a simple mobile app.

Founded in 2019, Busha is a digital currency and exchange platform that allows users and traders to safely and effectively transfer digital currencies including bitcoin, litecoin, and ethereum.

The Busha platform can also be used to exchange coins more like trade by barter but with yourself. the firm has worked hard to make its platform simple to use, accessible, and user-friendly.

Its goal is to create a global open financial system based on innovation and efficiency. The company recently released a new version of its app, which includes features like 50-cent minimum purchases for a more accessible offering, one-click limit orders, and scheduled reoccurring purchases.

Moyo Sodipo, the business’s co-founder and chief product officer, said the startup takes satisfaction in being the first to deliver real advancements like rapid payouts and human customer assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

He went on to say that the money will allow the company to achieve more in less time, increase security, and establish a clear leading position in the target markets.

Hence, Busha’s immediate aim, according to Michael Adeyeri, co-founder and chief executive officer, is to integrate the next one million Africans into the cryptocurrency economy.

The firm has witnessed the tremendous difference that cryptocurrency can make in the lives of over 200,000 users and is eager to expand this to more individuals across Africa.

According to Peter Johnson, a partner at Jump Capital, Nigeria, and the African continent are some of the most promising regions for cryptocurrency to make a substantial effect in providing financial independence to millions of people. He went on to say that they are looking forward to working with the Busha team to improve their market-leading product offering.
