One of the reasons most Nigerians prefer Android devices to iPhones is due to the ease of compatibility. An iPhone lacks it. It is like an island being isolated, it doesn’t share anything with any other device.
Even the charger you use to charge an iPhone cannot be used to charge an Android device, vice versa. Files, including photos and music cannot be shared.
Obviously, iPhone users feel pain the most. Although they usually claim they are fine with it. Majority are Android users in this part of the world and that makes it even more difficult to share files.
But the good news is that if you are tech savvy enough, you can break those barriers. If you have been using your iPhone and wanted to this, there are ways also to do this manually.
The best and easiest way to do this is through iTunes. Install it on your Windows if you don’t have one on it. It should, by default, be on the Mac
Things you will Need
Before making this journey, get the following close to you – your android phone from which the files are being moved, a USB cable (both of Android and of iPhone), a laptop/PC (any of Windows or Mac).
How to transfer
- If you are using Mac for the process, make sure to install Android File Transfer so as it to recognize your Android device.
- Create a folder on the desktop where you will put all the files you will be moving.
- Copy all you want to move such as pictures, videos, music, contacts.
- Connect your iPhone via its USB to the PC.
- Now move the copied files in the folder on the desktop to your iPhone.
- If you are using iTunes, after copying your music and videos from your Android, then you just synced the files to your iPhone.
