LinkedIn has launched new features on its platform that allows users to update and showcase all their key achievements and updates on their LinkedIn profiles.
Users now have the option to showcase their work and latest achievements to everyone that viewed their LinkedIn profile not only this.
Users will also be able to their LinkedIn posts to their Featured listing and also add links to external websites, documents, images, etc., to showcase specific aspects of all your achievements.
It has been revealed by LinkedIn that this move was taken due to the high percentage of requests lodged.

These new features will not only allow users to showcase their works but also allow freelancers and small business owners, entrepreneurs and startups to highlight their work on their profiles thereby sharing more about the services they offer to other users.
To add these features to your profile, LinkedIn reckons that users need to have at least authored and published an article/post on the platform.
More so, users need to add at least a post to their Featured listing, and then, they will be able to select a new ‘Featured’ star below updates in their activity feed, which will then add that content to their Featured section.
Immediately this is done, users will be able to edit how the content is displayed and be able to delete anything from their Featured section any time.
This move will also allow users to demonstrate their professional competencies, achievements, services and other numerous skills.
Although as at now, some individuals are already using it to showcase their articles written on their personal blogs, YouTube videos, etc.
The flip side is this, the option is only limited and not widely available as at now, but the LinkedIn team are working on ways that will ensure every user has the option and this might happen at the beginning next month hopefully.
