Applications are now open for the Tunga Academy program to empower, develop and transform these individuals into tech professionals who can perform at a global level.

They are providing you with access to the fresh crop of junior developers who have been prepared not just as excellent professionals with knowledge of global best practices but also as people who can deliver value within your organisation as team players, great communicators, good problem solvers, and agile executors.

They aim to offer three to five selected startups the opportunity to receive three months of complimentary developer services.

Through the specialized training initiative – Tunga Academy, designed to prepare African tech talents for global opportunities, they have been up-skilling and re-skilling junior developers across Africa.

And this is what you stand to enjoy:

  • Access to Amazing Talent: Not only would you get young and eager minds but you would also get trained and disciplined people.
  • Flexible Hands: You do not have to worry about redundancy. You can choose whether to collaborate on a short- or long-term basis. They understand the need for agility and adaptability in a startup.
  • Affordable Rates: If resource efficiency is key to your startup, this offer is certainly for you.
  • Startup Success: Your startup is gunning for growth within Africa’s booming tech ecosystem and they are right there with you.

They are offering your startup:

  • Experience: You have access to a mix of junior developers with 1-2 years of experience infusing fresh perspectives and energy into your projects.
  • Technical skills: The talents have skills across the following stacks; Python, Flask, Django, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express.js, Databases, etc.
  • Soft Skills: They have prepared them with communication, adaptability, situational awareness, and critical thinking skills.
  • Negotiable Rates: They strive for fair compensation for the developers, yet they are open to negotiation to align with your budget.
  • Trial Period: To be sure you are satisfied, they recommend an initial time frame of 3 months after which they evaluate the collaboration.
  • Interesting note: They adapt to your hiring process, whether for part-time, full-time, or project-based engagements.
