InternCity Hub, a new platform dedicated to equipping young tech enthusiasts with hands-on industry experience announces the virtual launch of the platform on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

It’s an 8-week immersive bootcamp. Tailored for aspiring tech professionals, the hub provides real-world projects, guided mentorship, and portfolio-ready skills to bridge the gap between education and industry expectations.

In partnership with companies and startups, InternCity Hub offers a practical, career-focused program where participants gain experience across tech roles such as Frontend Development, Backend Development, Product Design, Product Management, and Data Analysis, Digital Marketing etc.

“InternCity Hub empowers young professionals to gain essential skills and confidence to excel in real-world tech roles,” says Emmanuel Amogu, Co-Founder of InternCity Hub. “We’re not just offering training; we’re bridging the gap between talent and opportunity in Africa’s tech industry.”

Program Highlights

  • Real-Life Project Experience: Participants build portfolios by working on live projects, gaining industry-ready experience.
  • Mentorship: Guided by experienced professionals, participants receive feedback and career advice.
  • Collaborative Learning: Cross-functional teamwork develops critical communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Career-Ready Portfolio: Graduates leave with a polished portfolio and confidence to enter the job market or freelance.

The hub’s mission is to combat youth unemployment by preparing young Africans with practical skills to succeed in tech.
