Ingressive For Good, a platform focused on providing tech training for one million African youth, has partnered with DataCamp, an interactive learning platform for data science and analytics, to close data skill gaps and provide access to high-quality data training for thousands of women.

In 2022, Ingressive For Good supported 1000 women to build skills in data to challenge the fact that women make up a measly 15% of all data scientists globally.

This partnership will empower women with skills to build successful careers in data.

Participating women can learn from one of the following:

  • R Programming
  • Python Programming
  • Data Science
  • Data Analysis
  • Machine Learning Science and others
Requirements for participation
  • This is a women-only scholarship. If you would like to learn data skills and you are not a female, you can join their network for available opportunities
  • The training is self-paced. You however have until the end of the year to complete your training
  • A laptop is preferred for the training, usage of a phone is not advisable
  • You need internet to access the courses
How to apply

Visit here to apply. The deadline for application is Sunday, May 21, 2023. Selected candidates would be contacted on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Only the top students will be placed in jobs.
