Applications are open for the iHatch Startup Incubation Programme Cohort 5, a nationwide initiative led by the Office for Nigerian Digital Innovation (ONDI). The programme is designed to support early-stage founders across Nigeria who want to transform ideas into working businesses through structured incubation and ecosystem support.

The initiative runs through a network of innovation hubs across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, providing founders with local support while connecting them to a broader national startup ecosystem.

Eligibility for Participation

  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
  • Location: Applicants must be based in Nigeria and startups from any of the 36 states or the Federal Capital Territory are eligible.
  • Team Requirement: Applications must be submitted by a team of at least two members, including at least one full-time team member with technical capacity.
  • Startup Stage: The programme is open to startups at the idea, prototype, or Minimum Viable Product stage.

Programme Commitment

Selected founders must be available to participate fully throughout the four-month incubation programme and actively engage in sessions, mentorship meetings, and programme activities.

How to Apply

The deadline to apply for the iHatch Startup Incubation Programme Cohort 5 is Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Interested founders are encouraged to submit their applications before the closing date and prepare required materials such as a pitch deck, supporting documents, or evidence of early traction where available.
