A new fellowship, backed by the Ogun State Ministry of Science and Technology and the Bosun Tijani Foundation, is seeking young Nigerians to join its AI Talent Accelerator through the Gen AI Fellowship 2025.
Participants will split into one of two specialised tracks: an AI Engineering path focused on model training, fine-tuning, deployment, and MLOps; or an AI Developer path centred on building AI-driven applications using LLMs and APIs.
Who Should Apply
- Nigerian residents aged 18 or older
- Available for full-time, in-person training in Abeokuta, five days a week for six months
- Curious about AI and serious about developing real-world solutions

- Monthly stipend of ₦50,000 (conditional on attendance and satisfactory progress)

Training Tracks
AI Engineering Track
Subjects include Machine Learning, model fine-tuning, MLOps, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), cloud deployment (e.g., SageMaker, Docker), and version control using Git.
AI Developer Track
Covers front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React), integration with AI tools (LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs), version control, and deployment techniques.
