You may have heard the term “Mobile is the future”, hence you need to learn all you can about Mobile and see reasons why you need to be better positioned to maximise the use of your Mobile device for the present and future opportunities.

Looking at some local facts, reveals that the total number of active mobile lines in Nigeria stands at about 140 million and about 80 million Internet users. This is based on figures released by The Nigerian Communications Commission. This is enough reason for you to give mobile more priority.

Reality is that more and more Nigerians are using the Internet on a daily basis and quite a number of them, via their smartphones. A friend narrated an experience of how his Auto-mechanic, who was not literate in anyway, was smart enough to pull out his smartphone in his presence and searched online for the price of a brand of engine oil! That shows you how important mobile is to many people today.

Various tech companies, including top social media and search engine sites, have reported that the number of queries coming from Mobile have surpassed that of desktop and that the mobile curve just keeps rising by the day. Except for a few heavy users and core techies, majority of online users prefer to  use their mobile devices to connect to the world wide web.

The benefits of mobile includes the fact that it makes you and your business available everywhere. It offers you more ways of connecting with your customers. I could go on and on to argue why Mobile should be top on your Agenda as an individual and I will also say that it should be top on the Agenda of the new administration due to the level of transformation it can bring, if done right, as it can reach millions of people through Mobile.

You, therefore, need to guard your Mobile device jealously and make the best  use of it for your optimum benefit.
