Applications are open for the Lagos Agrithon 2026, the flagship youth agrifood innovation and enterprise acceleration programme of the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, delivered in partnership with the Lagos Agrinnovation Club.
With the theme, “Building the Future of Food Through Youth, Innovation & Technology,” the programme is designed to identify, support, and scale youth-led agribusinesses and agritech solutions transforming the food system across the value chain, from production to consumption.
Participants will compete for a share of a ₦200 million grant pool while gaining access to mentorship and business support.

Exposure Within the Agrifood Ecosystem
The programme provides visibility for innovative startups working on solutions in agritech, food processing, climate-smart agriculture, logistics, cold chain, waste-to-value, farm mechanisation, and related sectors.
Eligibility for Participation
- Applicants must operate within the agriculture or food systems value chain and demonstrate that their business addresses sector challenges.
- Applicants must have a registered business or a well-structured business operation.
- Businesses should demonstrate innovation, scalability, and the potential to achieve commercial success.
- The programme is open to youth-led businesses. Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years old.
- The business must have been in operation for at least three years before applying.
- Applicants must either operate their business in Lagos State or demonstrate that Lagos serves as a primary market for their products or services.
- Applicants are required to follow the Lagos Agrinnovation Club’s social media platforms and repost the official Lagos Agrithon 2026 grant announcement as part of the application process.
