Revent Technologies hosts Ola Williams and others to promote African Women Capabilities in Tech

Other prominent women leaders are set to inspire women to challenge career stereotypes at the IWD Event

Today, Wednesday, March 8, 2022, Revent Technologies in commemoration of International Women’s Day is bringing together the cream of Nigeria’s female Software Engineers, cloud innovators, Information Technologists, and Tech business leaders, to inspire current and aspiring women in technology careers.

The virtual event themed “IWD TechStars: On powering their personal journeys to leadership roles in technology” is aimed at promoting the capabilities of African women in tech careers by highlighting the stories of high achieving women.

The line-up of speakers will seek to inspire women to challenge societal biases that may stop them from pursuing careers of their choice and they include:

  • Ola Williams, Country Manager, Microsoft Nigeria & Ghana
  • Rachel Adeshina – Chief Information Officer, First Bank
  • Oluchukwu Adumije VP, Software Engineering, Revent Technologies
  • Simisola Isimi, VP, Technology Services UK & Nigeria, Revent Technologies
  • Adora Nwodo – Software Engineer, Microsoft

IWD Techstars virtual event will be moderated by Christina Soname, VP of Learning & Development at Revent Academy.

Speaking about the event, Babatola Awe, Co-founder, and CEO of Revent Technologies stated that women hold the key to unlocking limitless possibilities for organizations and indeed the world at large.

“IWD TechStars event is an expression of our corporate philosophy of creating an environment where women can thrive. Our list of speakers is a terrific inspiration to young women across the world and our attendees will gain so much from their journeys to leadership positions in the technology space.” He added.

Revent Tech’s IWD TechStars event will bring women together and inspire them using true stories from people who have ‘done it’.

The virtual event will hold today, Wednesday, March 9, 2022 by 2:30 p.m. on Revent Technologies – Twitter Spaces
