Following the recent release of the second batch of Nigeria’s ministerial nominees, with Bosun Tijani as a prospective minister among the 19 names, mixed reactions have trailed the nominations.
To start with, Bosun is the Co-founder and CEO of Co-Creation Hub, a foremost tech hub in Nigeria, with a diploma in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Jos.
He has a Master’s degree in Information Systems and Management from the Warwick Business School. He recently added a PhD, in Innovation and Economic Development at the University of Leicester.
Bosun is 46 years old and has been actively involved in the development of Nigeria’s tech ecosystem, especially through the Cchub incubation program for startups.
While the tech entrepreneur has received praise from the tech ecosystem over his developmental role in the country’s tech space, others are on the opposing side, bringing back his tweets that indicated his thoughts on the past Buhari administration.
The opposing side believes that Tijani shouldn’t be accepting the nomination from an APC-led government following his tweets about the past administration.
