The Talent Summit Africa 2021 holds on Friday, November 26, 2021, with a line of experts set to analyze the future of work and talent management in Africa.

Powered by elev8, the Talent Summit Africa 2021 will bring together executives from all industries and leaders in talent management to lay out the roadmap towards a new digital workforce.

With the forum set to discuss topics around future skills, digital acceleration, upskilling/reskilling, lifelong learning, power skills, among others, meet the speakers for the Talent Summit Africa 2021.

Oluwaseun Solanke

Oluwaseun is the Vice President and CIO at Airtel Nigeria. With over 25 years of experience in Information technology and senior leadership roles covering telecoms and financial Services, he has worked across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Oluwaseun is considered an expert in FinTech and RegTech leveraging service automation technologies such as AI/ML/RPA/NLP as well as other innovative technologies around Blockchain and Big Data.

At the Talent Summit, Oluwaseun would be speaking on “How Digital Transformation Will Secure a Sustainable Future for Africa”.

Lars Johannisson

Lars is the Country Managing Director at Elev8 Nigeria. He has international experience as MD/CEO in Telecommunications/ICT, Renewables and Professional services in Sub Saharan Africa, Europe, Latin America.

Over the years, he has been entrusted with leadership positions in large, transformative, high-tech, fast moving organizations together with qualified peers and teams.

Lars work in cross-functional organizations and with C-/Board Level engagements has enabled him identify the levers that determine a “sustainable impact”.

He would be speaking on “The Power of Skilling as a Business Growth Strategy”.

Wale Olokodana

Wale is the Director Microsoft Consulting Services – Middle East and Africa – Multi Country Cluster Region.
He is an experienced technology professional with financial and business acumen derived from 21 years in IT industry, with a career spanning sales, marketing, business and technical leadership as well as, technology consulting and advisory.

Wale has worked with leading technology and telecommunications companies in Nigeria such as Allied Computers, Resourcery Limited and MTN Nigeria.

He would be speaking on “Driving Talent Development with AI and Data”.

Bayo Adesanya

Bayo is the Chief Digital Officer for AXA Mansard Insurance Plc. He leads the Digital and Business Transformation strategy of the Company and is responsible for growing its e-commerce business.

He oversees the development, improvement and day-to-day operations of the Company’s digital channels and supporting eco-systems through which select general and health insurance, as well as savings and investments products, are purchased online.

Prior to joining AXA Mansard, he worked for 12 years as a Strategy consultant on major engagements to improve the performance of organizations through the articulation of their strategies and transformation of their structures, systems and people.

He would be speaking on “The Evolution of Digital Skills in the Healthcare Industry”.

Yvonne Ige

Yvonne is the COO at AppZone, She is experienced in optimizing business processes, steering management decision-making through business intelligence & financial analysis, go-to-market strategy, managing cross-functional teams, driving budget implementation, and coordinating key projects resulting in revenue and business growth.

Skilled in Building healthy stakeholder relationships, Developing the full capacity of teams to achieve set targets, Negotiation Skills, and Analytical Skills.

Yvonne has demonstrated competency in improving service delivery and ensuring client satisfy action.
She would be speaking on “Cutting Edge in Fintech”.

The Talent Summit Africa 2021 will also have a panel session with a focused discussion on “Future and Jobs: The Implication and role on people, businesses and the government”.

The panelists for this session include Emmanuel Abegunde, HRBP East & West Africa, NielsenIQ; Richard Rotoye, Group Managing Director, Creditville Group Limited; Obinna Ukonu, Country Digital and Technology Platform Director, Coca Cola; Emmanuel Mimshach Obioha, Country Manager, TeleSoftas; Nsikak John, Head, Enterprise Innovation Hub; Ireayo Oladunjoye, Head Startups, LSETF.
