GoMetro is a mobility management platform that helps public transportation and logistics companies improve profitability, future-proof their services, and stay competitive.

Hundreds of fleets throughout the world benefit from the solution, which provides the basic components for the rapid creation of mobility applications.

Kalon Venture Partners, Hlayisani Capital, Tritech Global, 4Decades Capital, and E Squared Investments have invested $1 million in the startup, which will be used to make critical hires and continue to invest in its revolutionary tech platform, development, and product engineering.

“Operators can save up to 30% in operational costs by increasing total vehicle utilization, limiting excess mileage, and minimizing back-office expenditures by adopting our mobility management platform and digitizing their whole fleet.”

Clive Butkow, CEO of Kalon Venture Partners, expressed his delight at the prospect of investing in a company that is growing both locally and globally.

“The amazing GoMetro staff, as well as the unique digitization of transportation operations to properly manage mobility, drove Kalon’s investment.”

“The GoMetro fleet interacts with distribution providers’ existing telematics investment, giving accurate routing and on-time warnings while saving them money in back-office expenditures and contract performance,” he said.

Techbuild’s Take

You may tailor offers and services surrounding your commuters’ regular areas and location using GoMetro’s toolset connected to your existing mobile website, application or new app to boost ease, membership, and commerce.

Mobility operations may use GoMetro Fleet to adopt electric mobility transitions. Their patented Mobility Management approach assists bus and truck fleets in measuring, modeling, managing, and transitioning to zero-emission transportation which will be further facilitated by this recent funding.
