Nigeria’s Climate Crisis: National Council on Climate Change & Climate Action Africa Partner for Solution

With the Easter shopping frenzy set to kick into full swing, a number of top brands have seized the opportunity to catch the attention of shoppers, with products from Lenovo, software makers Microsoft, Samsung, Apple, Intel and Alcatel, among others holding sway on the latest edition of Mobile Monday, a mega sales promotion exclusive to Yudala, Nigeria’s composite online and offline retail giants.

The promotion, which kicked off in February, has become a popular feature every Monday and through which Yudala offers all categories of shoppers the chance to enjoy best prices and mouth-watering deals on a wide range of mobile devices from the biggest brands including  mobile phones, laptops, tablets, smart TVs and accessories, among others.

Owing to the noticeable shift from thousands of consumers who now look forward to the Mobile Monday deals, a number of top brands have begun to explore partnership opportunities which enables them position bundled offer and other deals on the Yudala platforms to attract increased patronage from the army of shoppers who throng the online channel and Experience Stores every Monday.

Findings indicate that Monday’s edition which kicked off by 6am witnessed an unusually heavy traffic, with the Lenovo Yoga 300 laptop and Lenovo A10 tablet, both of which came bundled with Microsoft Office 365 emerging among the best-selling items from orders processed on the day.

Another product which enjoyed best-seller status in the latest edition of Yudala Mobile Monday was the Samsung S7 and S7 Edge which launched on both online and offline platforms on Monday. Feedback received showed that many who placed orders for the device were eager to be among the first to own the S7 while others were looking to purchase it as an Easter gift for loved ones.

In addition, the Apple iPhone 5S and Alcatel Pixi 3 were not left out of the action as multiple orders were processed for both items as part of Monday’s promotion.

Powered by Intel, today’s edition of the Yudala Mobile Monday was remarkable for the flash sale at 12pm, 3pm and 6pm which saw customers jostle for the HP 255 Business Laptop which was given away at a  jaw dropping price of N67,900.

“We are delighted by the growing acceptance of Mobile Monday. The huge orders processed today both online and in our chain of Experience Stores nationwide shows the eagerness with which Nigerians now await the promotion. Increased traffic spike was noticeable during the hours of 12pm, 3pm and 6pm when the flash sales went live,” said Marketing Communications Manager, Yudala, Afam Anyika.

“Many top brands are also taking position already on Mobile Monday by partnering with us to offer shoppers special deals and bundled offers. This can only be encouraged especially with Easter around the corner and even beyond as it offers these brands a chance to bond with the customers while ensuring quicker and faster turn-around and sell-out of their products.

“Many shoppers are already looking forward to next week’s edition of Mobile Monday and this is to go with the huge excitement being generated by our other running promotions such as the special Easter edition of Yu-jara in which you can stock up on needed items for Easter such as choice wines and bags of Yu-Rice or other gift items such as mobile devices, lifestyle and consumer products, among others,” he concluded.

Launched late last year with considerable panache and marketing blitz, Yudala, a pioneer online and offline retail chain has successfully expanded the nation’s e-commerce and offline retail space with several innovative strategies including the first ever drone delivery in Africa, Neighbour to Neighbour Mega Deals,  Monthly Mid-Day Madness and Yu-jara – Nigeria’s largest festive Seasons Sales, among others. Yudala prides itself for genuine products and for being the fastest pay on delivery composite e-commerce company in the country.
