Founder Institute Lagos marked the graduation of its Cohort IX founder after a rigorous yet rewarding 15+ week virtual program, only 12 founders, brimming with refined ideas and steely resolve, emerged victorious.
From a starting line-up of 47 enthusiastic entrepreneurs, these 12 founders persevered through rigorous training and mentorship, honing their pitches and transforming their fledgling businesses into investable ventures.
The graduation ceremony, held at Cafe One, Yaba on the 6th of March 2024, was a vibrant affair that brought together graduates, directors, the team, and guests.
The festivities kicked off with a thought-provoking panel discussion titled “Startups and Innovation in Africa: A New Paradigm.”
A huge applause for our esteemed panelists: Oyinda Akanbi (SYNLAB Nigeria), Oge Nnaife (Innovation Support Network Hubs), and Chidubem Ejezie (Innovate UK Business Connect) – their insights sparked a lively and engaging conversation about the ever-evolving landscape of African startups and innovation.
But the real heroes of the day were the graduates themselves. Their dedication, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit were truly inspiring.
Founder Institute Lagos extends a massive thank you to the dedicated mentors and incredible partners and alumni network who played a pivotal role in shaping these founders’ journeys. Their unwavering support ensures that each cohort contributes to the bright future of African entrepreneurship.
At Founder Institute Lagos, we remain committed to empowering founders to build investable, sustainable startups that have the potential to revolutionize the African economic landscape.
