One of the statements that caught my attention during the Infinix Note 3 launch; was when the Regional country manager Infinix Mobility, Bruno Li, said. “We intend to make history with Infinix NOTE 3’s 5 minutes fast charge technology, and we are sure the product will be welcomed by our users and fans in Nigeria.”
I had pondered over the 5minutes charging which provides you with up to 200 minutes talk time. How possible is that? Obviously, it sounds incredible to me. However, scrutinizing the device personally allayed my doubt. My finding is that the Hong Kong smartphone maker had included Duo 4.5A charging engines with MediaTek PumpExpress fast charging technology to ensure a quick and safe charging process of the Infinix Note 3.
Now, in response to what Infinix Mobility Regional Manager had said during Infinix Note 3 launch. Here is my response: “In my respectable view, with the introduction of the Infinix Note 3 into the African market, the Hong Kong smartphone maker is already making history, because this is the best they have ever produced”.
My above quote doesn’t mean there will not be shortcomings; all devices have their shortcomings. However, before I begin to give you insight about Note 3, let’s take a good look at the selling point. Some of these selling points are not distinctive.
THE SELLING POINT OF INFINIX NOTE 3
The fast charge feature for me is the most triggering selling point for Infinix Note 3. The Hong Kong smartphone maker said this feature was specially tailored to suit the unique needs of the African market, where customers need fully charged phones at all times to connect with family and friends.
• 5 minutes charge for 200 minutes talk time
• It also comes with 6inch HD screen
• 4500mAh battery
• Fingerprint recognition
• 13MP back camera
• 5MP front camera
• Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic
• Stylish wallpapers
• Water-Cooling Technology to prevent battery overheating.
• The latest Infinix User interface ‘XOS’ – an Infinix exclusive custom user interface that is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow
• Fast RAM speed which allows users to optimize their Infinix smartphone.
The selling points I listed above, just means the key features that Infinix Note 3 has, which makes it unique, hence, triggering you to buy the smartphone soonest.
Consequently, features such as the design/display, camera, water-cooling technology, fingerprint, and battery life are some of the unique features explicitly spelled out. Hope you enjoy them as read on
DISPLAY/CAMERA
The display is a pleasant feature which any phone lover would appreciate. Personally, I love 6-inch screen smartphones, and Infinix Note 3 has done justice to that, just like its processor, however, with better screen resolution. Note 3 is a full HD device with a display resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a resolution display density of 368ppi, compared to its predecessor which has about 241ppi.
The screen resolution and density is something that would trigger you to download movies and watch at your convenience. Have you imagined using a wonder looking at a film on an Ultra High Definition TV? The Note 3 screen display is just one of a kind.
The Note 3 packs a 6.0-inch 1080p display that provides a high resolution of the 367ppi viewing experience, compared to the 245ppi spotted on its predecessor, Infinix NOTE 2.
However, just as the screen is something to write home about, the same thing applies to the Note 3 camera. The device features an excellent 13 megapixels camera on the back and a 5 megapixels camera on the front for selfies and video calls, compared to the 8 megapixels on the Infinix Hots.
WATER-COOLING TECHNOLOGY
Obviously, this is one feature I enjoyed most. I don’t have to wait for the smartphone to cool before I can finish what I started due to overheating. You don’t need to think about overheating which is something associated with some smartphones.
Although water cooling technology is something that some brands like Samsung Mobile have been using, the Hong Kong smartphone maker took the bull by the horn in addressing the overheating complained by Infinix users. The previous series of Infinix never addressed the issue of overheating; however, Infinix Note addresses that need.
Note: It’s more of a heat pipe that only removes the residual heat.

STORAGE
Recently, storage has never been an issue for some smartphones, if you are looking below 16GB inbuilt storage, then you are not ready for the market. Interestingly, Infinix Note 3 packed with huge storage space for those who have massive files for storage.
Besides, an additional large storage of up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot, Note 3 offers an option of 16GB built-in storage with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage with 3GB RAM. However, you don’t need to be worried about space. This is just awesome.
BATTERY LIFE
Battery life is one of the things that people in this part of the world consider before they purchase any phone. Nigeria is still battling with an epileptic power supply; hence, it’s imperative for any smartphone maker to take cognizance of that.
Besides, the 5 minutes charge which lasts about 200 minutes (talk time) which is a very innovative; I have so much thrilled with the upgraded the battery capacity of the Note 3 to 4,500 mAh, which is the highest battery capacity so far from Infinix Mobility.
FINGERPRINT
The fingerprint is one of the features most smartphone lovers are looking forward to having and Note 3 is not just an exception. Infinix Note 3 feature fingerprint scanner just like Infinix Hot series, with full metal body.
Distinctively, the fingerprint sensors on most of these smartphones are not as fast and as accurate as the fingerprint sensor on the Infinix Note 3. Alternatively, the sensor on the Note 3 can also be used as a shutter button whenever you want to take photos.

MY VERDICT
The launch of Infinix Note 3 came in at a time when we have commenced the rollout of 4G/LTE services in the country and this is the best Infinix has ever produced”.
