Techbuild’s Take
Many startups are using digital ticketing, an innovative method of issuing and delivering tickets, to cut the expenses associated with printing tickets. A digital ticketing system is a tool for implementing a price strategy that takes operational, commercial, and social goals into account.
This approach is not new, particularly in the transportation industry, where people choose to travel using digital tickets rather than traditional paper tickets. The sporting industry has also followed this transition, with event organizers increasingly sourcing out ways to enhance their attendees’ ticketing experience while simultaneously enhancing safety and security.
These platforms allow spectators to access football matches with their cellphones in a secure and simple manner, as well as allowing smart devices to be used for a variety of other purposes, such as purchasing food and drinks from vending machines.
That is the purpose of the Guichet.com platform. The platforms also give partners a self-contained administration and control setting with real-time ticketing monitoring.
The platform’s success illustrates Morocco’s immense market opportunity, and Guichet.com is willing to take the risk of continuing to digitize the business.
Participating in the 212 Founders program’s third promotion aided the platform’s strategic vision, validation of its market-leading position in Morocco, and exploration of international development potential in the context of health care reform.
