As part of efforts to add value and improve the Startup ecosystem in Nigeria, leading technology blog, CFAtech.ng has expressed its readiness to key into the vision of Startup Arewa, one of the leading Startups in the Northern region.

This was made known during a courtesy visit by the Founder of CFAtech.ng, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata (CFA), to Startup Arewa office in Abuja.

Speaking during the meeting, the Founder of Startup Arewa, Mohammed Ibrahim Jega, praised CFAtech.ng for keying into the vision of building formidable Startup ecosystem and being in the fore front of Tech Development in Africa.

“CFAtech.ng is one of those media platforms that has been in the journey of developing the technology industry and also our partner and supporter,” Jega said.

The goal of Startup Arewa is to create a platform that will promote awareness and consciousness for young tech entrepreneurs in the North, bringing them under one platform, providing and supporting them with adequate mentorship to nurture and scale up their ideas.

“We need to create the enabling environment and platform that will conscientize and harmonise the entire northern ecosystem, home and abroad, to be able to see how they can showcase their potentials,” Jega added.

In his words, CFA, congratulated Startup Arewa for the initiative of developing communities across the North.

He said, there was the need to develop the Nigerian Startup ecosystem and Startup Arewa is at the forefront in as much as the Northern region is concerned.

“It’s highly commendable that we are making a bit of progress, the Eastern and Northern regions of Nigeria need to catch up with the Western part of Nigeria where the larger percentage of Startups in Nigeria are concentrated,” he said.

He explained that CFAtech.ng has made it a priority to add value and become relevant to industry stakeholders who are interested in partnering with the CFA brand.

“At this point, partnership is all about adding value and relevance and we have identified that to be a very strong pillar for us, however, we are grateful to be part of the journey,” CFA concluded.
