Lagos, NIGERIA 09-10-2014 In line with a Dutch proverb, “reward sweetens labor”, JCI, Nigeria (Junior Chamber International, Nigeria) planned and hosted a colorful award ceremony in honor of TOYP, Ten Outstanding Young Persons in the world (Nigeria) under 40 years of age. The event saw incredibly amazing young talents come together for the wonderful event.

The event was held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Okemosan, Abeokuta on October 9, 2014.

CFA AwardChukwuemeka Fred Agbata Jnr. “CFA”, thanks to his undying efforts at creating fresh awareness on technology in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large, was awarded JCI Nigeria TOYP for Technological Development. CFA has, over the years, taken steps to develop and make positive impact in the information technological sphere in Nigeria through innovation, and revolutionary thinking.

CFA was picked from a highly competitive category through a rigorous screening and selection process that ends with a list of the final ten nominees by a panel of judges made up of the JCI president and representatives from partner organizations.

In accepting the award, CFA said that the award only serves as an opportunity and motivation to do much more in his endeavors. He also expressed much gratitude to those who have helped him along the way.

JCI (Junior Chamber International) is an international community of young individuals who are actively changing the world. JIC seeks to motivate young talent by honoring the top ten most outstanding individuals for their extraordinary work in transforming the world, one community at a time. The individuals are drawn for various countries from across the globe.
