As Instagram continues to dominate Nigeria’s digital commerce space, many vendors are discovering that posting consistently is no longer enough to drive sales.

In response to this growing challenge, Cafe Innovate Hub (CIH) is set to host a 2-Day Digital Marketing Training for Instagram Vendors, designed to equip online sellers with practical skills to grow, market, and sell more effectively on Instagram.

The training is targeted at Instagram vendors, student entrepreneurs, and small business owners who rely on social media as a primary sales channel but struggle with low conversions, inconsistent sales, and ineffective advertising strategies.

According to recent trends in Nigeria’s digital economy, thousands of small businesses depend on Instagram for visibility, yet many lack formal training in digital marketing.

This gap often results in wasted advertising spend, poor customer engagement, and burnout from trial-and-error selling.

CIH’s Digital Marketing Training for Instagram Vendors aims to address these challenges by providing hands-on, beginner-friendly learning focused on real-world application.

Over the course of two days, participants will learn how Instagram’s algorithm works, how to create content that attracts buyers, how to convert direct messages into payments, and how to run Instagram ads without wasting money.

The program will also cover WhatsApp sales funnels, pricing and positioning, and strategies for building repeat customers.

Speaking on the initiative, the organisers noted that the training was created to simplify digital marketing for vendors who may not have a background in marketing or advertising.

“Many Instagram vendors work very hard but do not see results because they really have no idea how digital marketing actually works. This training is about giving these vendors clarity, structure, and practical systems they can use immediately to improve sales.” – Hope Ukaegbu-Michail, Program Coordinator, Cafe Innovate Hub.

The training will be facilitated by an experienced digital marketing expert, Celestine Mmadueke, Founder & CEO of IdeasNation LTD, who has 16 years of hands-on experience working with businesses in the Nigerian market. Participants will leave the program with actionable strategies, templates, and tools they can implement right away.

Registration for the training is currently open, with an early-bird discount available for a limited time. Interested participants can register and make payment at the point of registration via the official registration link.

This initiative is expected to benefit not only individual vendors but also contribute to strengthening the digital skills ecosystem among students and small business owners across the country.

For more information and registration details, interested vendors are encouraged to visit the official registration page.
