The annual Blockchain Africa Conference has been the first of its kind in Africa since 2015.

The conference brings together leaders from across the globe. The event was made necessary due to the perceived move away from blockchain experiments towards the development of a robust enterprise-ready solutions.

The event, which is set to hold from March18 to 19 will host more than 40 countries, 2000 delegates, and 170 speakers as those were the last numbers at the previous six conferences.

The 2-day virtual event tagged: From Hype to Mainstream will discuss topics that relate to Adoption, Banking, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Decentralization, Defi, Enterprise, Ethereum, Investing, Retail, Stablecoins, Supply chain, Technology, Tokenization.

Featured Speakers include John Lombela, Founder and Managing Director, Cryptovecs Capital; Peter McCormack, Podcaster, What Bitcoin Did, Henry Arslanian, Chairman, FinTech Association of Hong Kong; Dan Held, Director of Business Development at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange;
Yele Bademosi, CEO at Bundle Africa and founding partner at Microtraction.
