Ashoka/Boehringer Ingelheim has opened applications for its Co-creation Accelerator 2021 programme.

The Co-creation Accelerator is a support programme with a carefully designed pilot strategy that can help the business model for further scale-up.

Benefits of the program

Participants are set to benefits the following:

Professional growth

Participants are set to receive opportunities for their professional growth and further development during their journey.

Technical expertise

In the course of the program as the participants test their strategies for unlocking scale and sustainability potentials, they would have access to expert advice from Boehringer Ingelheim professionals.

Strategic networks

The participants will become part of a growing ecosystem with actors including social entrepreneurs, government agencies, impact investors, and corporate executives.

Investment access support

The participants in the program are poised to receive a grant of Euros 50k which allows them a pilot test for their new strategy. This will bring the possibility of having them scale up the funds up to Euros 150K

Business Collaboration

The potential to explore a wide strategic collaboration for a long term significant benefit for both the participating social venture and Boehringer Ingelheim.

Eligibility for the program
  • This application is open to social enterprise
  • With at least three years in operation
  • Sector contributing directly or indirectly to human or animal health care
  • Operation base must be in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda
  • Annual revenue sales must be $100k
  • Evidence of societal impact with clear metrics
How to apply

Interested participants who have satisfied the criteria mentioned above can go ahead to apply here. The deadline for application is Sunday, February 7, 2020.
