But if you wish to be in the flourishing tech world without having to code, worry not. Lots of career opportunities are available in tech that requires no coding skills.

With the tech industry growing tremendously despite covid-19, it is imperative that you learn about the lucrative careers in technology -with no coding required, alongside their average salaries, according to PayScale as of 2020.

Product Manager

Product management is the perfect tech jobs to consider if you are a business-minded, creative tech enthusiast.

Often described as the mini-CEO, product managers own the business strategy of a product (both physical and digital products), specify functional requirements, and generally manage the launching features.

They coordinate work done by many other roles such as software engineers, data scientists, product designers, etc, and are ultimately responsible for the business success of the product.

This is another that doesn’t require technical skills. Search Engine Marketing Specialists are responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing a company’s overall SEO strategy.

They cover a wide range of duties such as web marketing, web analytics, content strategy planning, link building, and keyword strategy.

User Experience (UX) Designer

You don’t need coding skills or a university degree to become a UX designer.

User experience designers work closely with product managers to create products that suit the end-users. They aim at increasing user satisfaction.

The field of user experience design differs greatly. Some UX designers focus on user research exclusively, while others can be more involved with prototyping products.

Their primary aim is to increase user satisfaction. They work closely with the product managers to conduct rigorous research.

The average pay for User Experience Designers: $48k

Data Analyst

If you possess an affinity for data set analysis, trend spotting, and interpreting data in layman’s terms.

These meaningful findings are used by clients and employers to make informed decisions.

Skills required for this role include strong mathematical and analytical skills, knowledge of statistics amongst others.

The average pay for Data Analysts: $61k

Tech Support Specialist

Although some tech support jobs require technical skill or degree, other types of support require less technical skill or zero degree.

One of the benefits of this role is flexibility. Tons of tech support firms allow for flex scheduling, working remotely, or both; as long as you communicate and solve customers’ technology issues.

The major requirement for this job position is having great communication skills coupled with a solid familiarity with a diverse range of tech products and problems.

Programming is undoubtedly among the demanding tech jobs, however, tons of tech startups need skillful individuals who would help solve issues outside the coding realm, thereby creating ample opportunities for people with a variety of skills.
