About 2 weeks ago, we commenced our very first giveaway on this platform which we have promised will be the first of many to come. It was managed (and will always be managed) by Rafflcopter to make sure the entire process stays automated and transparent. A total of 122 entries were received as can be seen on the image below:

I am glad to announce the winners of our september giveaway as selected by rafflecopter and they are;

  1. okechukwu Romeo – winner of the dual sim phone
  2. Emeka Nwarulor – winner of the free ticket to attend the October Edition of our monthly Training

Winners have already been contacted by email to come claim their prizes. If you would like to know how rafflecopter makes this selection, click here.

So here’s the fun part of this whole episode, my wife Oluwatosin Agbata actually won the giveaway as well but I had to remove her. That’s why her name is crossed on the image above because she was disqualified. I hope she does not find out? 🙂 Rafflecopter has a disqualification button incase fraudulent entries.

Lessons learnt from the September giveaway

Our team have been brainstorming why we got only 122 entries? This is quite strange considering the fact that our followership is far greater than this, well what we have decided is to tweak the process a bit;

  • First, we would now make it a weekly or bi-weekly giveaway.
  • Secondly, what we’d be giving out now are recharge cards.
  • Thirdly, the fact that we did not mention the brand name of the phone might have also been a challenge so this makes switching to recharge cards a better deal for now until we get a partner brand that we can mention their names.
  • Fourthly, we have decided to make the process less cumbersome, all you need to enter will be only 2 simple steps – all others will be optional.

All in all, we are happy with the outcome because it was meant to be a test, which we’d certainly improve on as we go ahead.
