Kin crypto was launched via the Ethereum blockchain and it was developed to be the major currency of Kik Messenger.

Although before Kin cryptocurrency was created, Kik points were expected to be a system for rewards.

However, Kik points didn’t attain a high level of success and this caused it to end in 2017 when Kin began operation.

NB: it was offered by the messaging service Kik.

Kin crypto’s ICO has raised about $100 million as it has a major advantage over some popular cryptocurrencies because of its high number of existing active users which are through the messaging platform (KIK).

In addition, Kin is an abbreviation that represents Kinship and its objective is to toughen bonds among all members of the Kik community.

In simple words, Kin is the cryptocurrency for the communicating service Kik and it has unique applications within the Kik postman platform.

Basically, every user has the chance to earn Kin coin every time they make contributions to the expansion of the Kik community, and also spend Kin crypto on several goods and services within the platform.

Brief History of Kin Crypto

Kin crypto started running in September 2017 through an initial coin offering (ICO), which helped raise about $100 million in investor funds within the duration of 2 weeks.

However, during the launch of the virtual coin, the founders of Kin crypto introduced it as the Kin Ecosystem creation specialized in bringing individuals together in a new shared economy as the cryptocurrency will solely act as a basis for a decentralized ecosystem of virtual services.

Meanwhile, most companies that introduce their own cryptocurrency don’t really have an already made user base, unlike Kin.

As a result, the platform assisted in driving consumer adoption of the Kin crypto.

Additionally, the Kik app can accommodate many of the conventional third-party services as well as qualities for the currency which includes the Kin wallet.

Kin crypto is the new virtual token of the Kik ecosystem and the overall supply of this coin is about 10 trillion although, only a hundred billion are presently available in the Kin crypto circulation.

NB: Kik platform had previously experimented with digital currencies some years ago, but this was said to be the first time a real cryptocurrency was introduced for operation.

Also, the coin can already be utilized on the network in quick and simple ways as it is hoped that it will be applied to more cases.

Furthermore, Kin crypto is supported with various wallets such as Citowise, Kinwallet, infinito, and Exodus wallets.

Also, the Crypto is listed in exchanges such as RayRue, OTCBTC, HitBTC, Mercatox, Gate.io, Bithumb Global, eToro, COSS, CoinTiger, and IDEX.

Alternatively, Kin crypto can be used for reimbursements, tipping, micropayments, orders, and more because it is a buoyant virtual currency for the energetic digital world.

The kin coin is a little crafty to purchase, especially for beginners and potential users because the coin does not trade on some large or popular exchanges such as Binance and Bittrex.

Lastly, Kin crypto is one of the most talented projects that is driving digital currencies into the digital services industry and social media.

However, it is already absorbed with success as well as a plan to increase its application cases as the Kin ecosystem grows across the globe, and also in quality and size.
