Best Cloud Mining Software

Now that you can use cryptocurrencies to pay for everything from a burger to a phone bill, it’s safe to conclude that cryptocurrency is here to stay.

People are on the go, constantly searching for valid solutions to secure their assets. USB flash or hard drives can be deployed to store cryptocurrency. This is one easy and cost-effective way to secure your assets.

Let’s go over key steps on how to do this;

Enable a bootable USB drive

Getting your USB drive bootable by installing a portable OS would be the first process of preparing it for crypto storage.

This enables users to add encryption and security, providing you with the required protection from cybercriminals.

When you’re finished making the bootable USB, make sure to properly eject the device from your system.

Install your preferred cryptocurrency wallet on your PC

Choose a cryptocurrency wallet with cold storage capabilities and install it on your PC using the installation.

This computer will be used to create and sign the deals that will allow you to move money in or out of your cold wallet.

Disconnect from the Internet and power off your PC

Before you insert the USB drive back in, disconnect your Ethernet and/or switch off your WiFi. Again, only attach your cold wallet USB  or hard drive to systems that aren’t connected to the internet.

On the USB disk, install the wallet program

Connect the USB drive that you’ll be utilizing for your decentralized network while the internet is turned off. Now you’ll install the wallet on the USB disk using the cold wallet setup.

Ensure your password manager has a unique password stored in it, and enable any advanced security features you want to utilize, such as seed phrases or two-factor authentication.

Transfer your hot wallet’s private keys to your cold wallet

Use your hot wallet to create and sign operations that send the bitcoin you desire to your cold wallet’s account.

You don’t have to reconnect the USB device once your account has generated the transaction to receive the cash in your cold wallet. The information has already been recorded in the blockchain.
