In a groundbreaking move for the e-commerce landscape, Unideals, a platform designed to revolutionize students’ online shopping, officially launched today in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Co-founded by visionary entrepreneurs Stanley Osuozah and Funto Tade, Unideals is set to redefine how students access deals and discounts, combining innovation, convenience, and inclusivity.

The MENA region boasts a rapidly growing e-commerce market projected to surpass $50 billion by 2025, and an estimated 30 million students, presenting a unique opportunity for Unideals.

The platform caters to this demographic, offering personalized shopping experiences and exclusive discounts across categories like fashion, electronics, beauty, and lifestyle.

Unideals’ journey began in 2021, starting with an extensive research phase to understand the specific needs of students and local businesses in the MENA region.

Insights from this research informed every stage of the platform’s development and testing, which included multiple soft launches and a robust waiting list campaign.

This phased approach ensured that Unideals was fully optimized for its target audience in one of the world’s fastest-growing digital markets.

Stanley Osuozah emphasized the transformative vision behind Unideals, stating: “We aim to make premium shopping experiences accessible to students while driving growth for businesses in the region. Our platform isn’t just about deals; it’s about creating connections and fostering a vibrant digital economy.”

Funto Tade highlighted the platform’s focus on the MENA market, adding: “This region represents immense potential for innovation in e-commerce. By catering to the unique needs of students, we’re building a platform that celebrates diversity and adapts to local preferences.”

With its user-friendly interface and robust merchant tools, Unideals is well-positioned to capture a significant share of the MENA e-commerce market while addressing the affordability challenges students face.

The launch of Unideals marks a significant milestone for the company as it sets its sights on expanding its footprint across the region and beyond.
