It’s guest post day here at ICTwithCFA.com and today’s post is from Damian Wolfe – Enjoy & Share!
We all know going shopping isn’t just a matter of getting new wardrobe we need for the upcoming or the ongoing season. The unavoidable thrill of browsing through amazing pieces of clothes, strutting through the store and twirling in front of the changing-room mirror is what at certain days helps us stay sane. Also, we get to bring a friend (or a couple) and ask for advice on how something fits or whether we should get that other piece of clothes too. In addition, we’ve got our smartphones filled with shopping apps that give us quick price comparison and deal discovery.
Shopping online is nothing like regular shopping. We are absolutely on our own when it comes to deciding on a piece of clothing and realizing whether we’re actually getting the best price.
When online shopping, you don’t need to be as restrictive as you’ve believed you should be. It can be extremely fun, exciting and it will save you a lot of time as you can do all the shopping from your living-room. Plus, with the right tools, shopping online will not only be super interesting but you’ll be able to shop and save online at virtually any site. Check out these four amazing online tools!
The Shopping List Creator
You know that situation where you’ve found an amazing product online, but then something distracted you and you forgot all about it? Yep, we do too. It’s happened hundreds of times to have a casual browse, find something, bookmark it or email links to ourselves, screengrab webpages on our phone yet for some reason we tend to forget all about it the moment we “next” to another page and the purchase never happens. For that not to happen any longer, there’s an online alternative – an online shopping tool called Wantworthy which tracks products down and creates lists. Wantworthy is designed for multi-site shoppers; apart from the newly-released app and website interface with Wantworthy you have “+Want” bookmarklet that you add to the browser. With this online tool products across the web will be easy to track. One click at +Want bookmarklet and the app automatically pulls in an image, brand, price and an item’s name.
Naturally, there’ll be all other information related to the product. This item will be stored in your Wantworthy lists. At first, Wantworthy sounds similar to other pinning sites and apps but it’s not – it is designed for shoppers specifically. This is why it has purchase tab to view items you’ve recently purchased, it features a mass sorting option by product type or store and a “Buy” button.
Product Price Trackers
If you are one to watch for your budget, yet always get the best pieces of clothing, then these online shopping tools are like made for you. Product price trackers will give you price history data which is in most cases reserved for Internet marketers.
Once you track item prices there is a decreased risk of impulse buying. Two online tools recently launched Nifti and Hukkster.
Nifti is an online shopping tool that tracks and stores product data from hundreds of mainstream retail sites. It is a product-focused community site with a compatible bookmarklet. The information you get are the basic product information such as price when first tracked, current price, and a standard desired price.
This tool enables you to see all pricing changes over days or weeks as they are displayed in text and chart format. Another amazing feature of this tool is that you can set up a price drop email alerts. These will notify you of a product’s price falling to your desired level.
Hukkster is a different type of site to Nifti – to increase shopping flexibility, the tool supports products on any site. It is a product bookmarking site, but the one that alerts you to price drops of “at least 50 percent off”, “at least 25 percent off” or “on sale”.
Price Comparison Tools
So, what happens when you are in a rush to buy? You need a price comparison tool, naturally! With these amazing tools, prices across a variety of sites are automatically compared and you are alerted to better deals elsewhere. These tools are especially helpful when you are looking to book a hotel room or a ticket!
Two non-intrusive add-ons that provide price comparison are PriceBlink and InvisibleHand. They will save you both time and money! Whichever one of the two you install, know that your overall shopping experience will be improved, with no extra effort!
The Price Predictor
Since there is a price tracking and comparison tools it is only logical that there’s going to be a price detector tool, also! This type of online shopping tool will help you decide the best time to make a purchase. Decide.com is probably the best option to go with – it is a top price predictor and it offers the advantage of expert reviews and historical price data. Also, you’ll get price and model predictions as well as product reviews and comparisons. With Decide you can be sure that the price given will not drop any further within a 14-day window as the tool is programmed to such a time span. In case the price does drop, Decide.com will reimburse you the difference.
