It’s guest post day here at ICTwithCFA.com and today’s post is from Damian Wolf – Enjoy & Share!

To everybody who has done their research regarding doing business properly is clear that brandindigital brandingg is one of the most important aspects of successful entrepreneurship. It is also almost a crucial thing of online marketing, but it is often neglected. In case you have had some experience with branding in general, online/digital branding will come easier.

Still, an inevitable question is – with all the improvements happening in the world of technology, social media and other what are we to expect in the near future from digital branding?

The Virtual World and All Those Wars

Would you really be surprised to find out that many marketing firms are moving to the cloud? Why would you be, right? After all, digital marketing has experienced such a rise in popularity that virtual terms have become the norm. All marketers seem to have realized the importance of the online platform. The thing is, the whole platform doesn’t really revolve around banners and adds only. What’s been highlighted are brand storytelling and content marketing that turned out to be key factors in branding efforts. This counts for both current and future branding efforts.

The key to successful branding is looking on things from a position of a consumer. Consumers ask for and want products and services that speak to them. Unless they have an emotional reaction to your product, they won’t be interested in pursuing anything related to it. Meaning, you need to push the envelope and be ready to be more involved into your product branding than just exist online. You need to have something catchy, something engaging and worthy of their time and attention.

Fast WiFi connections have brought a lot of boredom in a way – short attention spans for uninteresting and boring things are now expected reactions. TV and radio do exist, but aren’t really the it media any longer. These days, what is expected from a proper enterprise is to offer their customer variety of media with interesting approach – Facebook posts, TV shows, tweets, images, videos, music, articles, blogs… anything that’ll draw their attention. So, what are you to do? SPREAD! Get a good grasp on a little bit of everything and become the master of branding!

Subliminal Messages, Communication, Product Placements

Did you really think all those clothes, food stuff, gadgets and many other things you see in TV shows, movies, internet web series, music videos are there by accident? Nope, they are not – they are the product of clever film production and branding. Is it good? Maybe. Is it bad? Maybe. Whichever the response, subliminal messages sent through those are an amazing way to reach the customer. BUT! Be aware that if the camera sits on the brand label longer than a few seconds, customers get annoyed.

Plus, all of it is well planned and with a clever approach – those who put things in commercials know who their target audience is and what they would positively respond to. And there you were thinking it was all a happy coincidence…
Future branding is also tightly related if not even dependent on the online realm. When a customer is searching for a term on Google, he/she will be offered products with that tag. This will be great for marketers and good for users, as well!

The Future Holds Past Successes

It is no surprise really having to turn to content, storytelling and product placement. It has been here for years, we just haven’t been relying on it as much. And obviously, since they’ve been around for so long it means they have been efficient enough, branding-wise. It would be no surprise that we will rely on these in the future too, just upgraded with one big segment – technology!

With the technology evolving, we are all learning about our customers and audiences in such a way that we learn how to use these properly, that is – how to make both customers and ourselves benefit from it. All that we do in the future will be marked with mobile and virtual input, and it will surely follow the current technology of the time. The content will be the one reading the audience, not the other way around.

Conclusively, branding is becoming a perfect hybrid of old and new with an amazing upgrade that is technology. Essentially, all mixing and matching of the old and new is contributing to your brand’s advancement and growth!
