Tech Trends on Channels Television is a show that is driven by a passion to educate Nigeria on current trends in technology along as well as presenting interesting news, stories and other variety of issues on technology.

This week’s show started off with news on the e- business fair planned by ConnectNigeria. The second annual e-business fair will take place in Nigeria and it is projected to attract over 5,000 people and businesses. Details about this event with the theme ‘E-business and the growth of your enterprise’ was reeled out on the Local News segment of the show.

On the Foreign News segment, news of the Cyber Security Summit which was held in the USA a few days ago took the front burner. Viewers got to know what President Barack Obama had to say about cyber crime at the summit and lots more.

The news of an intriguing lawsuit filed against Apple Inc. by A123 Systems LLC., where engineer poaching was alleged was brought to the viewers. The Foreign News segment this week closed with the news of the speculations that Apple may actually be developing a car.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 featured in the Gadget review segment of Tech Trends this week. CFA reviewed the features that are associated with this phablet’s enhanced functionality, speed and powerful performance.

New episodes of Tech Trends air every Monday at 4:30pm on Channels TV (DSTV) with repeats on:

  • Tuesdays: 7:30pm Channels TV (Benin)
  • Thursdays: 3.30pm Channels TV (Terrestrial)
  • Saturdays: 3.30pm Channels TV (DSTV)
  • Episodes are also live on Channels TV and available on YouTube at CFA’s Youtube Channel
