The Guests invited to the Tech Trends on Channels Television are not only fun but they bring real-time tech wisdom to your screen.

In continuation of the interview session on Tech Trends on encouraging women in technology, Nkem Begho, CEO of FutureSoftware Limited, noted that the Nigerian Job market has evolved significantly as new jobs that were previously non-existent have now surfaced. She gave unique examples of such new tech jobs and titles in tech-driven companies as well as tech enterprises that women can fill.

Nkem gave examples of other successful women in technology throughout the African continent, who have not only worked in technology, but have also moved on to build impressive tech companies.

The interview could not be complete without the guest sharing her story on how she got into technology and her fascinating journey and experience in the realm of technology. She reeled out the challenges she experienced in the male-dominated technology space and how she surmounted all the odds to make her mark in the realm of technology.

On the Mobile App of the week segment, CFA brought to you the Evernote  App, an e-filing cabinet that allows you to ditch paperwork and go paperless in your business. Its uses are seemingly limitless, and CFA explained these extensively on the show.

Pop-ups and ads are a bother to many people online. On the Tech Clinic segment this week, you are taught how to fend them off and clean your computer to keep it free from infection.

As kids get exposed to technology more and more, there arises a need to protect them when online. CFA shows you ways of ensuring that your children are well protected from inappropriate content when they go online.

CFA has lined up more exciting episodes every Monday at 4:30pm on Channels TV (DSTV) with repeats on:

  • Tuesdays: 7:30pm Channels TV (Benin)
  • Thursdays: 3.30pm Channels TV (Terrestrial)
  • Saturdays: 3.30pm Channels TV (DSTV)
