The Tech Trends show presents inspiring episodes every week to keep you in touch with current technology trends and to educate you on how you can exploit available technology to enhance your success and prosperity.

The News segment on this week’s edition covered an interesting story on the contributions our local techies are making towards securing this year’s elections in Nigeria. The story explains how the Citizen Ballot Watch app was launched to offer the electorate a means of monitoring their votes electronically in this year’s general elections.

On the international scene, news broke of how China’s strict internet control measures have been wreaking havoc for both the citizens and businesses in that country. The show went into details about the negative impact on business due to unavailability of some online tools and websites. It further explored why the public is frustrated and foreign talent is discouraged from moving into China.

CFA’s show this week also took us on an exciting trip to San Paulo, Brazil technology festival, where viewers got a glimpse of the exciting inventions that were showcased. This included the amazing 3D glasses and very entertaining robot contests.

More exciting episodes will be coming to you every Monday at 4:30pm on Channels TV (DSTV) with repeats on:

Tuesdays: 7:30pm Channels TV (Benin)
Thursdays: 3.30pm Channels TV (Terrestrial)
Saturdays: 3.30pm Channels TV (DSTV)

You can also watch the show live on Channels TV or view it on YouTube at CFA’s Youtube Channel
