Intending investors in companies and SME startups were given an exclusive report on how the online registration portal works and how to use it.
Zimbabwe’s WebDev Technology Solutions, which has risen from the ashes of the dying economy of that country to become a leading tech company in the region was periscoped. The challenges were real for the enterprise, and Tech Trends examined how WebDev overcame those challenges. A great lesson for upcoming techy’s in Africa, I’d say.
The Gadget review segment looked at the introduction of the BlackBerry Classic; a new device which is impressively designed to woo previous blackberry owners. In addition, to addressing the specifications, the show also reviewed what the phone can and cannot do.
The interview segment featured Dr. (Mrs) Omobola Johnson, the Nigerian Minister of Communication Technology, The thrust of discussion focused “Expanding Nigeria’s digital economy”. She talked on a number of issues, some of which will be mentioned in part 2 of this write up.
