Nigeria is crawling with hundreds or rather thousands of Android smartphone models. There are the mainstream brands that everyone knows and adores. SOLO aims at establishing its presence in the phone market by offering users free streaming of Nigerian content, especially music and videos. The content, however, extends to Nigerian and international movies, popular TV shows and assorted entertainment content. This service is offered to SOLO S450 users for up to two weeks on SOLO mobile phones.

SOLO’s super-fast Hotspot Kiosks provide excellent content super fast. A full-length movie can, for instance, be downloaded in a record 3 minutes! The phone comes with easy-to-use interface. The interface has SOLO View widgets and SOLO Music. These are on the home page allowing easy access to entertainment content in your phone.

  • SOLO S450 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6572 dual core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. The phone is loaded with an impressive 16GB of internal storage capacity.
  • This is enough space to store all of your downloads. The memory can be further increased through an external microSD card.
  • SOLO S450 has a 4.5 inch touch-enabled screen. The display is an impressive FWVGA IPS display and a capacitive touchscreen.
  • SOLO S450 comes with a 5MP rear camera with flash and a VGA front camera.
  • The device is a dual SIM phone that can support both 2G and 3G networks.
  • The phone’s data transfer speed has been rated at 27mbps.
  • Connectivity in the SOLO S450 is delivered in a number of ways including Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS and Wi-Fi.
  • The phone is compatible with all leading Google Play Android apps SOLO S450 has a 1400mAh battery that has extended longevity.

Generally, this phone is great and ideal for anyone looking for a low budget phone with impeccable video and music features. The phone is additionally durable and stylish making it quite an excellent choice for anyone who wishes for a decent smartphone without necessarily having to send your finances to the Intensive Care Unit.
