Everyone can agree that good healthcare and wellness are requirements for living happy and healthy lives. In Nigeria, entrepreneur Saratu Miller, founder of Heal in Nature, is on a mission to make women feel better and special through a holistic care approach.

Heal in nature is a lifestyle company providing an online platform whereby working women can access alternative health solutions such as therapies, health supplements, and automated routine health checks to keep mind and body in a state of wellness.

The company ensures that its customers enjoy and display mental alertness, increased energy level, improved immunity, youthfulness, and above all, a healthy lifestyle.

Recently, techbuild.africa had a chat with Saratu Miller who took us through her entrepreneurial journey and mission.

What does your company do?

My company provides women with an affordable and effective healthy lifestyle through a planned regimen of Aromatherapy, Naturotherapy, Mindcare Therapy, Body Therapy, Organic Dietary supplements. Our services are online and easily accessible for patients who are very sick and cannot afford to reach the hospital.

Due to challenges in the health sector, wrong diagnosis, inadequate number of health professionals, and low-income earners not able to Access good medical healthcare, I have set up an affordable, easily accessible, and effective medical solution for women.

My company provides natural health solutions for the mind, body, and spirit.

What inspired you to start your company?

I’m a woman born with sickle cell disease, and my experience with the health sector made me seek alternative health solutions. This helped me to build on wellness rather than treating sicknesses and diseases. So I decided to share my experience to help people with underlying health conditions.

Why should anyone use your service or product?

They are natural, based in nature, and backed by science giving broad nutritional support, boosting immunity, increased energy level, mental alertness, and youthfulness.

How did you begin your entrepreneurial career?

I began my entrepreneur journey  When I finally left my last paying job, I decided why don’t I do something in health to help other people by sharing my health journey, and what helped me.

I became an associate with some  US-based health and wellness companies, and I engaged in networking to introduce people to their products, which I was using and seeing results. I was able to generate income and grow my customer base.

What gives you the most satisfaction as an entrepreneur?

Being able to express myself, making a profit, impact, and having a healthy lifestyle.

What are your future plans for your company?

My future plan for my company is to gain visibility and grow the customer base as an online business.

What advice would you like to share with other women looking to start up their own ventures?

Believe in yourself and do it afraid, as you go, you get better.
