The iF Social Impact Prize 2025 (Round 2) is now accepting applications from established projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
The total prize fund of €100,000 is split across two rounds each year, and Round 2 offers an additional opportunity for eligible projects to compete for a share of this funding.
Criteria for Participation
- Established initiatives led by NGOs, social enterprises, design firms, startups, foundations, or public organisations
- Projects addressing one or more of the 15 UN SDGs
- Student submissions are not permitted, and each project may only be submitted twice
Benefits for Participation
- A share of the €100,000 prize pool, potentially split among multiple winners
- Featured placement on the iF Design platform for global visibility
- Recognition through an official winner certificate
- Exposure to international media and design-focused audiences
Evaluation Criteria
Submissions are evaluated based on: problem-solving effectiveness, ethical conduct and respect for human dignity, integration of design principles, feasibility and efficiency of implementation, and positive user/community experience.
