There has not been a clear definition of what a tech company should be.
There is no distinct differentiation as to whether tech companies are organizations that produce tech services or companies that depend wholly on technology to run their business.
Technology is slowly but steadily carving a strong niche in the Nigerian economy. As it’s the application in the traditional ways of solving issues, thereby making life better and easier.
Companies that offer technological services or use technology in their business still need people who are knowledgeable in tech to carry out these functions.
Tech companies often face difficulty in recruiting the best of young talents, however, tech hubs are remedying that as most hubs offer training services, equipping youths with these needed skill sets.
This move has greatly improved the human capital of tech in Nigeria.
Now, international tech companies have branches in Nigeria. They train and then recruit their trainees most times.
Nigerians who are knowledgeable in tech are also using the available resources and have built their equally thriving tech companies.
