Opolo Innovents in partnership with Digital Innovation/Business Start-up Hub, UNIOSUN, Osogbo and OAU, Ile Ife, is set to ignite Osun’s state’s innovativeness via through the University communities and the society at large.

The 2-day event themed, Innovaation and Entrepreneurship for National Development through University Communities, will hold on Monday, February 21, 2022 at OAU, Ile Ife and Tuesday, February, 22, 2022 at UNIOSUN, Osogbo.

Among other programs, Opolo Innovents is poised to position Nigeria as Africa’s powerhouse and innovation foundry.

Opolo Innovents commended the technology-driven innovations and transformation in the state’s higher institutions.

The Innovents will offer the country  the chance of matching up with global standards as regards technological feats so that Nigeria will be able to bridge the gulf separating it from other technologically developed nations.

The event will see the convergence of innovation enablers, corporate entities, entrepreneurs, government functionaries, investors, and thought leaders to local startups while inspiring sustained economic growth throughout the country. This in turn would transform ideas into viable commercial assets that will benefit all.

Opolo Innovents will showcase the Bank of Industry’s commitment in supporting startups and technology development in the Southwestern state and globally. The event will as well coincided with the official commissioning of the Innovation and Technology Hubs founded by Opolo Global Innovation in the campuses of UNIOSUN, Osogbo and OAU, Ile Ife.
