Nokia has today in India released its PureBook X14 laptop- a curtain raiser for the brand’s entry into the laptops and personal computer market segment which will henceforth be available for purchase on Flipkart.

The laptop is the first device of its kind from Nokia and it bags a handful of amazing features. It comes with an ultralight form factor and has an ultra-vivid picture quality effect.

Powered by an Intel 10th-Gen processor alongside a Windows10 operating system pre-installed, the device has a 512GB NVMe SSD and 8GB RAM, and also comes with a high definition infrared-based webcam, which also serves as a face recognition sensor for Windows Hello face unlock.

The PureBook X14 laptop has a backlit keyboard with adjustable brightness, and precision touchpad with Windows gesture support, and a single configuration, with a screen that has slim bezels on the sides and a huge touchpad.

Speaking on this landmark achievement, Nokia Brand Partnerships’ Vice President Vipul Mehrotra said in a statement:
“Launching the Nokia brand into this new product category is a testament to our successful collaboration with Flipkart. We are excited to offer consumers in India a Nokia branded laptop which brings innovation to address a gap in the market, as well as the style, performance, and reliability that the Nokia brand is known for”

The Flipkart-exclusive device will be obtainable from December 18, 2020. Dev Iyer, Vice President – Private Brands at Flipkart in a statement had this to say:

“At Flipkart, it is our constant endeavor to have our fingers on the pulse of consumers’ needs. As consumers continue to stay indoors and design their work from home lifestyles, their needs when it comes to high-end value electronics have taken center focus.

With the Nokia PureBook X14 laptop, our effort is to provide our customers a product that not only caters to their multi-functionality needs but also ensures supreme visual and processing quality – catering to both their personal and professional needs.

We are pleased to deepen our collaboration with Nokia in our shared goal of providing for the needs of Indian consumers,”

The device is priced in India at Rs. 59,990, and comes in a matte black finish.
Below are the PureBook X14’s full specifications and features:

  •  Nokia PureBook X14 is Windows 10 Home Plus pre-installed and powered by the Intel Core i5 10th-Gen processor with a 1.6GHz base frequency and up to 4.2GHz turbo frequency.
  •  It features a 14-inch full-HD IPS display with Dolby Vision, 86 percent screen-to-body ratio, 250 nits peak brightness, and 178-degree viewing angles.
  • The graphics on the PureBook X14 Laptop are handled by integrated Intel UHD 620 Graphics with  1.1GHz turbo speeds and support for 4K, Intel Quick Sync Video, Intel  InTru 3D Technology, and Intel Clear Video HD Technology.
  • It offers 8GB DDR4 RAM, a 512GB NVMe SSD with Nokia PureBook X14, along with Dolby Atmos support.
  •  Its connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, two USB 3.1 ports, a USB 2.0 port, a USB type C  3.1 port, an HDMI port, Ethernet jack, an audio out, and a MIC In port.
