Productivity has a lot to do with how one makes a headway in life and it is not only limited to individuals but also extends to nations; the more productive a nation is, the more prosperous it’d likely be. Sadly, not too many people are using technology to measure and improve their productivity.

Some people, particularly entrepreneurs and small business owners, are yet to take advantage of these for a number of reasons which range from ignorance to resistance to change from the old ways of doing things.

The purpose of this piece is to open the consciousness of today’s entrepreneur, irrespective of his or her industry, to some apps capable of increasing their productivity in their business endeavours.

The beauty of majority of these productivity Apps is that you can download them for use across devices, such as computer device, laptops, iPads and smartphones. Smartphones have, indeed, changed the way we work today. Dropbox: This app allows you to share files with your friends, family and, of course, with members of your team. These include documents, pictures or anything important. If you want to send a file that is too large to send via email, just use this app instead.

HootSuite: It is a social media management system for sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, and Instagram. HootSuite allows you to update your status on each one of these social media platforms, one at a time and you can even schedule updates to your liking on every site you want to update.

Evernote: As the name suggests, it not only allows you to take notes, but you can create your to-do list, record reminders and even save ideas and URLs from the website you visit on it. It helps you to stay organised if you have a lot of projects or if you are working with a lot of clients. You can work seamlessly with your team using this app.

Swift key: While your normal keyboard on your smartphone might not learn what exactly your next word will be, Swiftkey, on the other hand, does that. — Finish Reading on the Punch Website
