AWIEF Announces Pitch n Grow 2026

There is a strong relationship between finance and technology, an ally that has given birth to Fintech, an industry that is waxing strongly, rolling out continuous innovation.

We are dealing with money on a daily basis; some people are finding it difficult to save due to some reasons.

In that regard, technology is adding value to our saving mentality in the form of applications that allow you to save money.

I have compiled lists of money saving apps that will help you save and keep track of your expenses.

Mint

Obviously, this is the most popular money saving applications that everyone should have.

This app is free and available on Apple Store and Google Play Store as well.

This app allows you to keep track of your expenses, savings, or even retirement.

Even if you don’t have an app on your smartphone, you can log on to Minto.com to create an account that can also be accessible when you install the app.

Leave Money

It might be difficult to fight the drive or spend much money.

The app shows you exactly how much you can spend responsibly periodically.

The app starts with your bank balances and starts to minus your bills like rent and utilities as well as planned saving.

You can set an alert, let’s say when you have 20 balance left.

It keeps for you the spendable balance.

Billtracker

You need this app to keep track of the bill you need to pay.

With this app, you are informed of all the dates and amount you need to pay by getting a notification.

A billtracker is passcode-protected and a clear indication that information is intact.

You Need a Budget (YNAB)

Just like the name sounds, YNAB is quite appealing to the eyes, considering the way the budget interface is built.

The app is easy to use and not complicated at all.

The app is structured into four segments:

1) Give every dollar a job, 2) Save for a rainy day, 3) Roll with the punches, and 4) Live on last month’s income.

The app isn’t free but it worth every penny because it tries to instill some discipline in you by making you look at your finances.

It works on Windows and Mac, probably cost around 60 Dollars.

Savingstar

This app works on Android and iPhones. It doesn’t necessarily allow you to have a budget or tracker expenses just like other.

SavingStar helps you find coupons for different grocery stores, although this must be linked to loyalty cards.

In somebody the grocery stores in developed countries, you must have a loyalty card before you can get rewards or prizes.

Conclusion

Saving isn’t easy at all especially when your income is limited. One key fundamental is to look for ways to increase and double your income.

At the same time be mindful of how you spend the money, money should be spent on things that are important
