In pursuit of a seamless user engagement, Google Maps recently introduced new features on its users’ travel directions that allow them to have a more interactive user phase for both individuals and businesses.

Here are the latest entries to Google Maps features:
- All registered businesses having verified profiles can communicate directly with their customers using the business messages section of the application on the app.
- Customers can now comment on Google My Business live posts.
- With the added Community Food Feature, users can access the latest live feeds, reviews and media uploaded by businesses and individuals on their follow list
- Businesses now have access to performance insights to allow them to check results on their user engagement levels via Google Map and Search.
- Google is currently testing its Street view upload through its app by making recordings of connected images as they move along a street.
The published images will then positioned or rotate automatically.
