NITDA Opens Application for GITEX Pitch Deck from Startups and Hubs

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has opened applications for Nigerian startups to the upcoming 40th edition of the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Dubai, United Arab Emirates from December 6th – 10th, 2020.
More than 150,000 trade visitors from over 140 countries are attending the5 days global tech expo and conferences.

The event is a major meeting point for technology industry professionals; governments, innovators, and futurists.
This event will see a gathering of the world’s biggest technology mentors, angel investors, and venture capitalists.

In the past five years, NITDA has given support to Nigerian startups at GITEX through its subsidiary, the Office for ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIIE).

Who can apply?

NITDA calls on Technology-Driven startups offering solutions that can address any one of these areas to qualify for its full sponsorship at GITEX:

  • Digital Economies
  • Transportation
  • 5G
  • Blockchain technology
  • Cloud and edge computing
  • Cyber Security and Resilience
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Augmented Analytics
Eligibility for participation

Entries will get considered and assessed by a panel of judges within Nigeria’s technology startup ecosystem to pick out innovative solutions that has the capacity to address any of the challenges stated above

How to apply

Interested applicants can visit to put in for this years application.

The deadline for application is Monday, November 16, 2020.

This is followed immediately by evaluation and successful startups will get selected.
