Ever since the lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic, businesses especially the tech-inclined platforms have resulted in new ways to keep their customers engaged while serving them with utmost efficiency.

The wave of the pandemic has prompted a lot of people to embrace a convenient mode of shopping from the comfort of their homes while they still get the best of services without stepping out.

Recently, Farmcrowdy, Nigeria’s first digital agriculture company introduced Farmcrowdy Foods, a one-stop digital marketplace that allows its consumers to conveniently purchase highly affordable fresh food products from the comfort of their homes.

This appears to be quite different from the regular online marketplace as Farmcrowdy Foods makes it possible to get food packages beyond the shores of Nigeria.

Do you have relatives living in the diaspora? Would you like to receive food bundles of affordable foodstuffs and groceries from them?

Farmcrowdy Foods will receive your order from anywhere around the world to deliver fresh foodstuffs anywhere within Lagos.

The food platform also boasts of pre-prepared packages that users can make a selection from at a fixed price.

Users can also customize their packages through the selection of preferred products from Farmcrowdy’s Food inventory or even simply make up their own custom order list.

Once Users create a customized package or select from the available ones on the platform, they can go ahead to make a choice on their preferred delivery date on the schedule and make payment when the shopping is due.

All bundle packages are available on the Android and the IOS app store.

Farmcrowdy Foods also has recently launched a new service: The Farmcrowdy Foods Personal Shopper Service, which offers users new ways to shop on the platform.

The new service is an assigned guide that will handle users’ grocery shopping weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on their preference.

Beyond this, Farmcrowdy Foods Personal Shopper Service also ensures that clean, fresh, and affordable groceries are delivered to you.

With a minimum order value of N20,000, the service is available to shoppers and they get their deliveries at any location within Lagos and environs.

Here’s how it works

  • Sign up via the Farmcrowdy Foods Mobile App (Android and iOS)
  • Click on the shopping cart icon at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen
  • Select your personal shopper – Uduak
  • The personal shopper caters to your grocery needs on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis depending on your preference.
