Digital Explorers Extends Applications to Nov 22, 2020

The female-only cohort will select up to 15 female Data Analysts/Scientists at entry-level who will undergo 6 months paid traineeship in Lithuania consisting of intensive training and placement at select Lithuanian companies.

Digital Explorers has extended applications for its second cohort to run till Sunday, November 22, 2020.

Techbuild.africa initially announced the programmes’ deadline as Saturday, October 3, 2020.

The female-only cohort will select up to 15 female Data Analysts/Scientists at entry-level who will undergo 6 months paid traineeship in Lithuania consisting of intensive training and placement at select Lithuanian companies.

The aim of this project is to contribute in closing the global tech gender gap by offering successful participants the opportunity to advance their careers through a tailored Data Analysis/Science training and a paid traineeship in selected Lithuanian ICT companies.

At the end of the 6 months programme, participants will return to Nigeria better equipped to achieve the organization’s objectives.

Eligibility for participation
  • You are an entry-level Nigerian female data analysis/data science specialist who has a Bachelor’s degree and currently lives in Nigeria.
  • You are strongly motivated to be a part of the Digital Explorers programme and you will dedicate time to participate in the whole selection process.
  • You are able to relocate to Lithuania and spend six months as part of the programme and have an internationally valid passport.
How to Apply

The 2020 Digital Explorers cohort will be selected based on technical skills evaluation and interviews with prospective participants.

If you have data analytics/data science skills and have just kicked-off your career in the field, you can apply here.

The new deadline for applications is Sunday, November 22, 2020.
