According to Victor Okigbo, Demo Africa is the coolest thing that has ever happened to the Nigerian tech ecosystem.
He stated this as a guest on the ICT Radio Show, on 99.3FM Nigeria Info anchored by CFA. Victor said that it took the visionary leadership of the Hon. Minister of CommTech, Mrs. Omobola Johnson to pave the way for Demo Africa to leave Nairobi, Kenya after 2 years of hosting it.
He said; the coolest aspect of it is that over 500 exceptional startup ideas where submitted and screened by an experienced panel of which he is a member. Out of all the submissions only 40 were chosen to participate in the finals which he admits was a difficult process but that leaves Africa with over 400 potential startups.
