Prof. Danbatta Pleads with Kano Youths to Embrace Digital Skills Programs

Prof Umar Garba Danbatta, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) today paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, where he urged the people of Kano state to continue supporting the Federal Government’s initiatives in ensuring peace and stability in Nigeria.

An indigent of Kano himself, Danbatta lauded the Emirate and the people of Kano for their unending support to the federal government, commenting that Nigeria deserves a long period of peace to achieve sustainable growth and development.

The EVC said the Federal Government has come up with initiatives on youth empowerment, through the provision of digital skills and literacy.

Bayer in his remarks, appreciated the EVC while commending President Muhammadu Buhari, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Ali Isa Ibrahim Pantami and the NCC boss for the top-notch performance of Nigeria’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry.

The Kano monarch pledged to continue giving supporting the Federal Government on its developmental initiatives, urging all leaders to continue to promote peace and unity in the country.
