Learning is the process of assimilating knowledge, or, information on any subject, skill, or, entity. It is a culture

Human beings have, over time, gained the culture of adapting to situations and lifestyles, with the capacity of accessing new knowledge and experiences.

Humans, naturally, adapt to changes and learn.

A man, who moves from Nigeria to America, has the natural capacity to adapt and learn in the American environment.

After a while, that man would have learned about the economy, lifestyle, customs and traditions of the American life.

Apart from learning for adaptability, learning extends to gaining knowledge about anything and this is the paramount aspect.

A major fuel to learning is curiosity. In creating a culture of learning, curiosity should be the order of the day.

If one is not curious to know, knowledge would not be obtained.

Curiosity pushes one to explore and gain knowledge, in different aspects of life.

Humans, already go through the rudiments of schooling, whereby, it is necessary at that point, to read and learn, to obtain a degree to become useful in life.

Learning does not stop after getting a degree. Learning is for life, as you never stop learning.

One of the ways to create a continuity of the culture of learning is through RESEARCH.

Research involves exploring, investigating and studying, to gain new facts and knowledge. Without research, learning culture is limited.

The advent of online media era, with the availability of the internet, makes research achievable.

It is possible to go online and make investigations in different areas. In such ways, new knowledge is gained.

Making use of traditional media, like newspapers, radio, television and the likes, are ways of making researches and observations.

Exposing oneself to knowledge is a major way to create a culture of learning.

Another factor, in creating the culture of learning, is through reading and so, it is essential to create book clubs, to foster the habit of learning.

For those who may find it difficult to commit to reading by themselves, a book club is a great way to foster such a culture.

Creating a book club of three to four people, or, more with a book to be ready within a space of time, makes the learning culture engaging.

One can dwell on a chapter and make discussions and practicals out of the literature; this brings creativity and sustainability to learning.

Attending conferences and seminars, sustain the lifestyle of learning. Seminars and conferences, either, free, or, paid, are available; various topics are explored and studied.

Field trips, excursions and travels, are part of the ways of grooming a lifestyle of learning.

Visiting new places, touring and learning, about certain places creates a continuous process of learning.

Excursions are more practical ways of learning. Visiting museums with artifacts and ancient landmarks, bring life to the assimilation of knowledge.

According to Abigail Adams, the former First Lady if the United States of America, learning, is not just a form of chance, or, luck, or, a showcase of talent; it must be sought for, with diligence and practice.

Learning requires doggedness and pursuit, to gain higher knowledge.

Learning new skills ought to be a continuous process.
