Simbi interactives to donate fifty million naira worth of educational resources to support students amidst covid-19 shutdown.

In light of COVID-19, Simbi interactives an edutech startup is making available a part of its product for free so students can continue to learn while at home.

State governments across the country have begun closure of schools at the primary and secondary levels owing to the recent increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Nigeria.

Simbi Interactives, in its contribution to the fight against coronavirus, is donating educational resources worth Fifty Million Naira (N50,000,000.00) to the education of senior secondary school students affected by the closure of schools with its product “SIMBIBOT.”

Simbi interactive is giving twenty thousand (20,000) new students a three months free access to the Simplified Lesson Note aspect of the SimbiBot platform.

This benefit will also be enjoyed by the already existing fifty thousand (50,000) users on the platform.

The learning assistant teaches every topic in three stages –

  • Simplified Lesson Notes
  • Interactive Questions
  • Evaluation Stage

SimbiBot uses predictive analysis to identify the weak areas of a student in a subject and helps him/her learn and master that weakness and evaluate themselves in any topic.

In making learning fun, the platform offers a gamified experience known as “brain combat”, where two students can duel themselves on different subjects to gain bragging rights among their peers.

Students and parents can access SimbiBot on the web or download the offline app from Google play store.
